Open the door. Feel the weight.
What is in the display kitchen at 323 Carl Vinson Parkway
- Raised-panel knotty alder
- Knots left in, grain warm under the lights. Open a door and look at how the panel floats in its frame.
- Glass-front uppers
- For the pieces you want on show, set into the run so the line of the cabinets stays unbroken.
- Carved corbels and a hood surround
- Millwork made for the cabinets around it, so the hood reads as part of the kitchen, not a box above the range.
- A painted island on turned legs
- Distressed blue under a granite top, with a butcher-block bar overhang where the stools go.
A sample chip two inches wide tells you very little about a cabinet. A full kitchen at full size tells you how a stain reads across ten doors, how a hood sits over a range and how deep an island overhang feels when you stand at it. That is why the showroom exists. How a showroom visit works
